Emeraude Toubia

Emeraude Toubia is an Canadian actress who is best known for her work on the Freeform fantasy series Shadowhunters as well as the Venevision telenovelas Cosita linda, and Voltea pa' qui is enamored. A dancer and model by trade Toubia also has achieved success in both fields. She is a Montreal resident, she was born and raised in Texas and has always been attracted to performing. She's been learning various dance styles since her early years. When she was 15 she was participating in beauty pageants. In 1999, she made her first on-screen appearance in Televisa's children's program El Mundo de los Ninos. Toubia gained notoriety in 2008 after she appeared in Nuestra Belleza Latina's second season. It was which is a Univision beauty contest series. She began acting in 2010 when she played an office receptionist in an Telemundo episode. The actress starred in Tattooed Love (2015), an action-oriented film.
